A HandiThings best seller! The Hand Weight is a uniquely designed weighted pouch that rests on the back of the hand allowing for maximum finger, hand and wrist mobility. It is recommended for use to help steady tremors, rehab & strengthening activities, during fine motor or self help activities, or when input on the hands is needed. Five different sizes are available to accommodate most hand sizes from small children to adults. The weight is reversible and can be worn on either hand. Available individually and in pairs. Size is determined by measuring the back of the hand across the knuckles (not including the thumb). The HandiThings Arm Weight is a weighted compression sleeve designed to help with a variety of conditions. The weighted sleeve distributes the weight evenly along the full length of the forearm, allowing for maximum flexibility and mobility during activities.
The Arm Sleeve Weight provides compression, sensory input, tremor control, and strengthening all in one. The design features vertical weight tunnels that are located on the top of the forearm to keep the weight focused on the top side of the arm. 5 different sizes are available to accommodate most arm sizes from small children to adults. To determine the size, measure the circumference of the thickest part of the forearm, and see the sizing chart to find the correct size. Therapists recommend wearing this weighted sleeve during fine motor or self help activities. Users who need extra sensory input during handwriting, but aren't able to tolerate a weighted glove or weighted pencil will find this to be a helpful alternative. For those who experience tremors during fine motor tasks, the Arm Sleeve Compression Weight by HandiThings provides proprioceptive input, increases sensory feedback, enhances kinesthetic awareness, and can be used for rehab/strengthening exercises.
