A HandiThings best seller! The Hand Weight is a uniquely designed weighted pouch that rests on the back of the hand allowing for maximum finger, hand and wrist mobility. It is constructed of dark navy compression jersey fabric, lead-free steel shot and heavy duty stitching for added strength and durability. It is held on the hand with elastic finger loops and a hook & loop closure around the wrist. It is recommended for use during fine motor or self help activities or when input on the hands is needed. It can also be beneficial for rehab purposes, reducing tremoring and strengthening activities. Five different sizes are available to accommodate most hand sizes from small children to adults. The weight is reversible and can be worn on either hand. Available individually and in pairs. Size is determined by measuring the back of the hand across the knuckles (not including the thumb). The HandiThings Arm Weight is a weighted compression sleeve designed to help with a variety of conditions. The newly designed weighted sleeve distributes the weight evenly along the full length of the forearm, allowing for maximum flexibility and mobility during activities.
The Arm Sleeve Weight provides compression, sensory input, tremor control, and strengthening all in one. The new design features vertical weight tunnels that are located on the top of the forearm instead of the horizontal weight tunnels that wrap around the entire forearm. This keeps the weight on the top of the arm and prevents the weight tunnels from snagging on anything the bottom of the arm would touch or run across. Constructed of dark navy latex-free stretch jersey fabric with lead-free steel shot, the weight has heavy-duty stitching for added strength and durability. 5 different sizes are available to accommodate most arm sizes from small children to adults. To determine the size, measure the circumference of the thickest part of the forearm, and see the sizing chart to find the correct size. Therapists recommend wearing this weighted sleeve during fine motor or self help activities. Users who need extra sensory input during handwriting, but aren't able to tolerate a weighted glove or weighted pencil will find this to be a helpful alternative.
