UtensilWeight™
Description: A rectangular pouch with sewn in weighted segments and a hook&loop fastener.
Materials/Construction: Dark navy stretch jersey fabric, lead-free steel shot, and a hook&loop strip.
Instructions: The recommended installation is to lay the weight flat on a table and roll it up around a pencil or other utensil, securing it with the hook&loop strip. The weight can be positioned 1/2” above a pencil point and be used as a “grip”, or it can be positioned 1-2” up from the pencil point and the user can grip the pencil itself. Both positions are effective. When used on other utensils, the positioning can be adjusted for maximum function and comfort.
Colors/Size/Packaging: Available in dark navy. It is approximately 3” x 5” (flat), and about 7/8” diameter when wrapped around a writing instrument. It weights approximately ¼ pound. Sold individually.
Comments: The weight can be used with most writing and eating instruments or coloring tools. It can be used alone or in conjunction with most of the commercially available pencil grippers as well. Hand washing or wiping with a warm damp cloth and blow-drying is recommended. WARNING: This product contains lead-free steel shot which could present a choking hazard. To insure the safety of the user, adequate supervision is recommended.
