Katie Iliff is the newest member to join the HandiThings team as an advisor and a consultant. Katie is a Missouri State board licensed occupational therapist who graduated magna cum laude from Maryville University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Occupational Therapy in 2001.
Katie has worked in a variety of therapy settings with clients of all ages, including outpatient hand therapy, inpatient rehabilitation, adult home health, early childhood special education, early intervention, and school-based pediatrics. She is currently an in-district autism consultant through Missouri’s Project Access. Katie’s special passion for understanding and helping children with dyslexia makes her a wonderful addition to the HandiThings team.
Not only does Katie bring 17 years’ worth of valuable experience to the HandiThings team, but she has worked directly with Mary Ann Heinz (COTA/L), the co-founder and developer of HandiThings products. Katie’s knowledge and expertise have been invaluable in helping develop new HandiThings products and putting them to the test with her own students.
We are very happy to have her on board the HandiThings team!
