Positioning Products:
The HandiWriter® and SportWriter are designed to
facilitate the correct positioning and holding of a writing tool.
They are recommended for use with children of any age who have
inappropriate grasp patterns. Our “Writers” are being used in many
classrooms, clinics and homes, and have proven beneficial to ALL
CHILDREN who are learning to write. They can also be used with
many of the pencil grips currently available.
HandiWriter®
 Description: The HandiWriter® & SportWriter are
stretch knit bands, with a charm on a cord.
Materials/Construction: Soft, comfortable, cotton
stretch knit band, satin cord. The HandiWriter® has a dolphin
charm, and the SportWriter has a Baseball or Soccer Ball charm.
Instructions: The HandiWriter® is worn with the large
loop around the wrist. The charm is held in the palm of the hand
with the l ittle and ring fingers. The thumb, first and middle
fingers grasp a p encil
and the top loop of the HandiWriter® is placed around the top of
the pencil. This pulls the pencil back into the web of the hand,
and forms the therapist recommended “TRIPOD GRIP”.
Colors/Size/Packaging: HandiWriter®s are available in
Red, Blue, Purple & Yellow with a dolphin charm. SportWriters
are available in Black (soccer ball) and Red (baseball). One size
fits most children. Sold individually or in bulk packs of 12, 50
or 100 count packages.

Comments: Hand washing and air-drying is
recommended. WARNING: This product contains small parts which
could present a choking hazard. To insure the safety of the user,
adequate supervision is recommended.
