HandiThings Weighted Products:
HandiThings weights are recommended for use during fine motor or
self help activities. They can be helpful for individuals who
experience tremoring during fine motor tasks. They provide
proprioceptive input, increase sensory feedback, enhance
kinesthetic awareness, and can be used for strengthening
exercises.
ArmWeight™
Description: The AW is a tubular weighted stretch
sleeve that is worn on the forearm. This unique design distributes
the weight evenly along the full length of the forearm, which
allows for maximum flexibility and mobility.
Materials/Construction: The AW is constructed of
durable stretch cotton Lycra, lead free steel shot, and uses heavy
duty stitching for added durability.
Instructions: The AW is worn on the forearm. The
weight is symmetrical, and can be worn on either arm.
Colors/Size/Packaging: It is available in black. The
AW is available in 5 sizes, which are determined by the
circumference of the fullest part of the forearm (see chart). Sold
individually.
Comments: Hand washing and air-drying is
recommended. WARNING: This product contains small parts which
could present a choking hazard. To insure the safety of the user,
adequate supervision is recommended.
